Emmanuel Boniface Williams

Founder & Executive Director

Emmanuel Boniface Williams is a passionate Tech Law & related areas Enthusiast, CEO of Excellence International—a Global Managed Services Company, sustainability researcher, and youth development advocate dedicated to advancing education reform, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development across Africa. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainability at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, where his research focuses on inclusive development, governance, and social innovation.

Throughout his career, Emmanuel has distinguished himself through academic excellence, leadership, and public service, earning recognition through prestigious scholarships, research awards, and leadership honours. He has served with respected institutions including the African Union, the National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria, the International Center for Transitional Justice, and the African Transnational Justice Centre, contributing to initiatives in governance, human rights, and policy development.

As the Founder and Executive Director of African Lantern, Emmanuel leads a Pan-African movement committed to transforming Africa through a skill-first approach, youth entrepreneurship, African indigenous knowledge systems, and economic self-reliance. His vision is to inspire a generation of innovative, values-driven African leaders equipped to create sustainable solutions, strengthen communities, and shape the continent’s future through knowledge, creativity, and enterprise.
